The SSA has an international membership and is open to individual practitioners, researchers and policymakers working in the addiction field.
For students, we also offer associate status: for a reduced fee, those currently or about to undertake a UK-based course in which the focus of study is in the addictions field, and resulting in a recognised qualification or credits are eligible for most of the benefits of membership, including online journal access and reduced-rate Symposium attendance. Student associates must have a demonstrable commitment to working in the addictions field.
