Addiction, one of The Society's two journals,
has been in virtually continuous publication for 117 years.
It has appeared under several titles, the first being 'Proceedings
of the Society for the Study and Cure of Inebriety', and more
recently the 'British Journal of Addiction'. Today's journal
is truly international in scope and brings together research
conducted within many different disciplines. It is read in over
60 countries worldwide.
