Annual conference details

Do you want to attend this year’s Annual Conference? Do you work or volunteer in the third-sector, or are you a service-user?

New for 2018, we are trialling a new scheme to assist voluntary and other third-sector workers, or service-users, who have had an abstract accepted, to attend our Conference. Successful applicants’ delegate fees will be waived, and each successful recipient may claim a maximum of £200 to travel to the Annual Conference to present their delegate paper. If you wish to be considered for one of these supported places, the abstract submission form will remain open until 31 August. NB: delegates are required to register for the Conference by Friday 26 October otherwise abstracts will be withdrawn. Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words in length. Posters accepted for presentation should be printed at A1 size (594 mm x 841 mm), portrait format.


Service evaluation / Audit

Please use the following headings: Aims Methods Results Conclusions Abstracts must include information to address the following questions: What was evaluated / what were the standards being audited? What outcomes were measured? What were the recommendations resulting from the audit / evaluation? How are / were the recommendations disseminated? What did the re-audit show? Research Please use the following headings: Aims Design Setting Participants Intervention (where appropriate) Measurements Findings and conclusions (the findings should be clearly listed)
