Editor Associate

Join the SSA as a journal editor associate

As an alternative to membership, associate (reviewing) editors of the SSA journals may join the SSA as associates, free-of-charge. This is a benefit the Society extends to associate (reviewing) editors appointed by the editorial board of either of our journals – Addiction and Addiction Biology, available on application. This status offers most of the benefits of membership without the right to become a Trustee or attend or vote at our Annual General Meeting, and with online-journal access only.

Acceptance as an associate of the Society for the Study of Addiction is not a professional endorsement or validation and we do not give permission to cite SSA-associateship on personal profiles for this purpose.

Editor associateship must be renewed annually, expiring on 31 December. Applicants’ eligibility will be reviewed each year before confirming their continuing associateship.
