How to apply

The SSA is committed to ensuring that the recruitment process is fair and accessible. If you require any reasonable adjustments to apply for one of the roles or to attend an interview, please contact Natalie Davies.

To apply for the roles you will need to submit two online forms:

  • An application form: this will ask for information including your contact details and references, and prompt you to upload a CV and cover letter (plus a short portfolio of your written work if you are applying to be a Science Communication Officer)
  • A diversity monitoring form: you will be re-directed to this once you have submitted the application form; it is a mandatory part of the application process, but you have a right not to disclose sensitive personal information and can do this via selecting ‘Prefer not to say’ for any of the answers

Please ensure that your cover letter explains how you meet the essential (and desirable) criteria for the role and why you think you would be a good fit with the SSA.
