Join Addiction Healthcare Goals, the Medical Research Council, and the Society for the Study of Addiction on 11 June to explore the latest developments in addiction research and discuss emerging leadership pathways within the field.
The Future Leaders in Addiction Science event will reflect on the achievements of the Medical Research Council (MRC) Addiction Research Clinical (MARC) training programme and look forward to what is to come with the Addiction Healthcare Goals flagship research leadership programme.
Confirmed speakers include Dame Carol Black GBE, independent adviser to the UK Government on drugs, as well as MARC graduates Dr Katherine Herlinger, Dr Miriam Hillyard, Dr Prianka Padmanathan, Dr Emmert Roberts, Dr Daniel Titheradge, and Dr Samuel Turton, and SSA alumni Dr Katherine East, Professor Tom Freeman, Professor Caitlin Notley, and Dr Paul Toner.
Future Leaders in Addiction Science is aimed primarily at early- and mid-career researchers who have an interest in leadership in the field of addiction. Tickets cost £20.
