Administrator
Are you organised and efficient with an interest in addiction science, research, policy, and practice? The SSA is seeking an Administrator with a good eye for detail and for developing and maintaining efficient processes. This will include supporting the SSA’s day-to-day activities: supporting subcommittee and trustee meetings, maintaining accurate records, producing reports, monitoring and processing funding applications, and processing financial requests.
- Location: Remote working with ability to attend occasional in-person meetings in the London area
- Salary: £30,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience) + competitive pension contribution
- Contract: Full-time, four-year fixed term

Science Communication Officer (x2 posts available)
Are you passionate about science communication and skilled at writing for different audiences? The SSA is seeking two Science Communication Officers to help build the charity’s online presence and communicate the charity’s mission. This will include contributing to, and helping to run, the SSA’s website, podcasts, newsletters, and social media platforms.
- Location: Remote working with monthly meetings in Reading/London
- Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + competitive pension contribution
- Contract: Full-time, three-year fixed term
