Preceding our Annual Conference and held at the same venue, our PhD Symposium is built around the experience and needs of PhD students in the field. This is a free event with limited places, and is open to students only.
We offer a range of supported places for student helpers, student presenters and presenters from third-sector or voluntary organisations. For more information and to apply, see details at the bottom of this page.
Online submission is now open for oral and poster papers submitted by delegates. Follow the link below for full details and to submit your presentation. (Please note, applicants for Supporter Presenter places must also separately submit their presentation details via this route.)
In addition to the conference delegates’ sessions, there will be up to four symposia invited from our members and funded by the SSA. The deadline for submission for programme symposia has now passed. We will notify the successful organisers of selected symposia by the end of March 2020.
