The Early Career Research Network (ECRN) is run by and for people at the beginning of their research careers in the field of addiction. The team includes the SSA’s Head of Communications and Operations, Dr Rob Calder, plus SSA-funded academic fellows, Dr Nathan Critchlow, Dr Katie East, and Dr Sophie Orton.
The ECRN publishes a monthly newsletter and has held online events for early career researchers on topics including post-PhD careers, open science publishing protocols, and science communication tips.
