Abstract
Assessment and measurement of online gambling
Konstantinos will present new psychometric evidence supporting the ISAAQ‑10, designed to assess online gambling involvement within problematic use of the internet. Using Item Response Theory and modern validation methods, this work evaluates item functioning, measurement precision across the risk continuum, and the scale’s suitability for population surveillance and clinical screening. Findings highlight the ISAAQ‑10’s strong discriminatory capacity, making it a robust tool for capturing contemporary digital gambling behaviours.
