Ulrich Müller-Sedgwick, MD, PhD, is a consultant psychiatrist and lead clinician for the Adult ADHD & Autism service at the Government of Jersey, where he also sits on the Neuroinclusive Jersey Strategy implementation group and the Jersey Disability & Inclusion Advisory Group. He previously led the Adult ADHD Service at North London NHS Foundation Trust (2017-21, remaining an honorary consultant) and, from 2003-17 in Cambridge, built the Adult ADHD Service for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust and directed an adult ADHD research group at the University of Cambridge, where he remains a Visiting Researcher and Life Member of Clare Hall. Appointed the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ inaugural ADHD Champion in 2024, he sits on its Psychopharmacology Committee and the Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Special Interest Group executive, and serves as a media spokesperson on ADHD, with appearances across national radio, newspapers and magazines. A founding executive committee member and former president (2019-21) of the UK Adult ADHD Network, he has contributed to NICE guidance and the 2025 ADHD taskforce report, speaks regularly at national and international events, and has published over 160 book chapters, papers and policy documents (>8,000 citations, h-index 61/45). From a neurodiverse family himself, he enjoys outdoor activities, plays viola in several Jersey orchestras, and researches the link between musical creativity and neurodiversity.
