This week’s delve into the archives has unearthed this gem from 2015. Dr Rebecca Monk talks about using smartphone applications to help people monitor their alcohol use.

2015 is so long ago that I initially questioned whether smartphones had yet been invented, or whether Rebecca was making an incredible prediction about how as-yet non-existent technologies might help the people of the future remember how much they will have drunk.

I have checked, and both smartphones and inaccurate recollections of alcohol consumption were thriving in 2015.
