The last couple of weeks have been big for Addiction News. Alongside the US presidential elections, people in Oregon voted to decriminalise all drugs. At the same time people in New Zealand voted against legalising recreational cannabis. These provided rare opportunities to watch a public vote on how to approach drug use.
Meanwhile North Korea and eastern Turkey have both implemented smoking restrictions. North Korea to develop ‘hygienic living environments’ and Turkey to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
