Professor Martin Y. Iguchi died on 5 June 2021. Martin was a Senior Editor for Addiction journal for many years and bought a detailed and thoughtful approach to his editorial work for which we are very grateful. During his career, he also sat on the editorial board for many other journals. His research covered a range of issues including HIV transmission and barriers to addiction treatment. More recently, Martin focused on the potential for using technology to deliver behavioural interventions such as contingency management.
Martin was a senior behavioural scientist at the RAND corporation and a professor at Pardee RAND Graduate School. More detail about his life and research can be found at the RAND website.
