Biography
Holly joined the Society for the Study of Addiction in January 2026 as Science Communication Officer. She brings expertise in policy, public affairs, and research communication from her previous roles at WithYou and Anna Freud. Prior to this, Holly worked in Bristol with adults facing multiple disadvantage, and she retains a commitment to improving outcomes for this group. Holly is particularly interested in how language and the framing of ‘problems’ can influence policymaking and service design. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Bristol and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Bath.
