Is your membership up to date? All memberships expire with the calendar year and your renewal payment for 2021 is due on or before 1 January. Log in to your account and make sure you’re set up to renew for the new year.

Annual Conference 2020 videos

Video of Dr Nora Volkow’s Society Lecture, Dr Carl Hart’s plenary session on addiction and societal inequities and a number of other symposia and Q&A sessions are online now. SSA members can view the videos in our online library using the password that was emailed to them earlier this month. Other material including speakers’ biographies, abstracts and slides are also available to members.

Invited symposia for our Annual Conference, 2021

SSA members are invited to submit proposals for three-speaker symposia sessions, focusing on new developments and current topics in addiction. Sessions accepted by the Conference Scientific Committee are funded by the SSA. Submit your session proposal here.

Fred Yates prize nominations

The £2,000 Fred Yates prize is awarded annually to a researcher who has made a significant and specific contribution to the addiction field. The recipient is invited to present their research at our Conference. Click here to make a nomination.
