The SSA’s Early Career Research Network has organised three new webinars about major milestones for researchers: applying for a PhD, applying for a fellowship, and applying for a research grant. The aim is to equip people in the early-to-mid stages of their careers in addiction science with the tools for success.

Upcoming funding opportunities

The SSA recently announced that it will be delivering the Addiction Healthcare Goals Research Leadership Programme – “providing funding for academic and career development programmes tailored to the specific demands of the addiction research field”. Dr Rob Calder will be attending the PhD and fellowship webinars in October to share more information about the funding that will become available through the flagship Addiction Healthcare Goals scheme.

Please get in touch if you have questions, or if you require reasonable adjustments for attending and participating in the webinars.
